Steroids, part 1.5. Congressional Arrogance!

Will be adding to this post later; but I heard the deputy to the committee answer MLB's lawyer on Mike and Mike in the morning, and the quote was "we have the right to subpoena anyone for any reason according to House Rules." Gee that's great. He went on to say (in an incredibly arrogant tone) that Congress could do a lot short of legislation, to "help" such as oversight. This is of course despite the fact that MLB already addressed this issue (with accolades from Senator McCain!).

I am reminded of the famous Ronald Reagan quote (forgive me this is from memory:) "We are not a government with a nation, but rather we are a nation who has a government."

What a waste of time.

BTW, the committee doing the subpoena-ing (is that a word?) is the Government Reform committee. This makes a ton of sense.
