Et Tu, Prior?

Here we go again. Of course now it is the ides of March.

Prior is SHUT DOWN for now.

Wood and Prior are down. We still have a staff of Zambrano, Maddux, Dempster, Guzman, and I suppose Rusch.

Certainly adequate -- but with giving up 74 HRs and no closer, we don't have much chance right now. This is why you try to improve your team *every year*. We didn't improve at closer, we lost two great outfielders, and we lost a very good number 4 starter in Clement. Betting on the health of Wood and the new Bird Fidrich is basically a bad strategy.
